FlipLife
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Who we are
FlipLife is a free Android mobile game published on Google Play by Sustainable Compute Network, an independent solo developer based in the United Kingdom.
We are the data controller for any personal data we handle, although we hold no personal data from FlipLife. Contact us at unicredmac@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
FlipLife stores your game saves, settings, and a small event log for troubleshooting on your phone. These are never sent to us. They are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
We run no servers that receive data from FlipLife. There is no FlipLife account, so we never ask for your email address, name, or password.
If you tap share on a run card, your phone opens its own share sheet. The image goes only to the app you choose; we do not receive it.
3. Google Play Games Services
Signing in with your Google Play Games profile is optional. Google provides this service and processes:
- Your Play Games player ID, profile name, and avatar.
- Your achievements and leaderboard scores.
- Game statistics, such as days played, rank reached, best in-game net worth, and runs finished.
- A cloud copy of your save through Play Games Saved Games, so you can move progress to a new phone.
Other players may see your Play Games name and score on leaderboards, depending on your Play Games profile visibility settings. We can see leaderboard entries and anonymous, aggregated statistics in Google Play Console. We do not receive your email address or contacts.
Google handles this data under Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
4. In-app purchases
FlipLife offers one optional purchase: Endless Mode, a one-time unlock. Google Play Billing processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details.
The app receives a purchase confirmation from Google, including the product ID and order reference. It stores this on your device to unlock Endless Mode. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy.
5. Information we receive from Google Play
Google Play may provide anonymous, aggregated crash, performance, and install statistics through Android vitals and Play Console. These help us understand how the game is working. We do not use a separate analytics or tracking service.
6. What we don’t do
- We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
- We do not show ads or use advertising IDs, ad networks, tracking SDKs, third-party analytics, or cookies in the app.
- We do not track or profile you, or share data with third parties for marketing.
- There are no loot boxes or chat or messaging between players.
7. Device permissions
FlipLife uses internet access for Google Play Games and purchases, Google Play Billing, and vibration for haptic feedback.
It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files, or notifications.
8. Children and teens
FlipLife is aimed at teens and adults aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase. Parents and guardians can contact us with any questions.
9. How long data is kept
Local game data stays on your phone until you uninstall FlipLife or clear its app data. Google keeps Play Games data under its own policies, including any cloud save you choose to use.
10. Your privacy rights
UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal data, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where it applies. You may also have rights under US state privacy laws where they apply.
Because we hold no personal data from FlipLife, most data requests will need to go to Google. Email us and we will help point you to the right place.
11. How to delete your data
- Uninstall FlipLife, or clear its app data in Android Settings, to remove data on your device.
- Delete Play Games data, including achievements, scores, and cloud saves, in the Google Play Games app’s settings or through your Google Account.
- Email unicredmac@gmail.com if you need help.
Removing the app’s local data does not by itself delete data held by Google.
12. Security
Game saves and local logs stay on your device. Keep your phone and Google Account secure. Google is responsible for the security of its Play Games and billing services. No device or service can be guaranteed completely secure.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if FlipLife changes. We will update the date at the top so you can see when it last changed.
14. Contact and complaints
For privacy questions or help, contact Sustainable Compute Network at unicredmac@gmail.com.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the relevant privacy authority where you live.
